I have had the privilege to photograph once-in-a-lifetime moments as a wedding photographer for almost a decade so that my sweet couples can relive those moments over and over again!

Honoring the past, celebrating your future.
Shelby Street Photography was founded by my friends, Patrick and Brittany Clark, in 2009. They were a husband and wife photography team, and the company's name originates from the street where they bought their first home after getting married. I've been a good friend to them for over 20 years, and I watched as they got married, and from afar as they began their photography business.
Our paths crossed again later in life, and I was asked to become an associate photographer. We spent years photographing weddings together, documenting love stories and capturing beautiful moments in time. Then in 2020, when Patrick and Brittany moved their family out of state, they asked me to be the owner and sole, lead photographer of Shelby Street.
I considered changing the name, but I thought deeply about legacy. Legacy is important in this business – after all, I'm capturing the very beginning of your legacy as a couple getting married. Even though they aren't a part of the company anymore, I didn't want to erase Patrick and Brittany from the business they worked so hard to create. Instead, I decided to honor that Legacy of photographing couples in love, just like the husband and wife team who started it all.
